salam, dah lama sy x post something kat blog nih. Ramai yg bertanya kan kpd sy apa setting yg terbaik utk exterior rendering dan mcm mana nak create angle yg best. Jawapan sy mudah saja, 'tiada'. (kalau kawan2 terjumpa sila bagi tahu sy k:)) Sy dah cari n tanya pada pakar 3d ttg exterior setting, x de satu setting yg sama utk setiap scene yg kita wat. Ia bergantung pada diri kita sendiri, mcm mana kita nak dan apa yg kita nak tunjukkan. yg penting apa yg kita cuba sampaikan tu dpt diterjemah dgn baik oleh org lain. peace!

Kekuatan 3D max-Spline, Editpoly, Editmesh

Antara projek off yg paling terkini, masterplan utk pembagunan kaw. ini amat unik dan berbentuk seperti huruf S. Mengunakan kaedah binaan 3d yg sama seperti sblm ini, hanya mengunakan spline sy dpt menghasilkan 4 tower ini dalam masa 2 hari. Pengunaan Spline tidak terhad, ia boleh digunapakai utk semua jenis modelling. Terdapat kelebihan dan kekurang dlm pengunaan Spline tetapi sy jadikan Spline sebagai tool utama dlm pembinaan 3d. Rujuk kepada post sy yg lepas - masjid berbentuk bawang- pengunaan spline dan editpoly amat membantu, sy menghasilkan masjid dlm bentuk manual 3d bermakna kesabaran penghasilan amat diperlukan.

Bagi pengunaan Editpoly pula, sy mengunakannya utk objek yg sukar. Kelebihan yg terdapat pada editpoly amat luar biasa terutamanya kebolehannya menukarkan mesh kepada spline. Ia amat membantu sy dalam menghasilkan rekabentuk yg unik.

Untuk mencantikkan lagi senibina 3d ini sy mengunakan editmesh utk setiap objek, disamping itu fail 3d kita akan menjadi lebih ringan sekiranya semua objek ini ditukar kpd editmesh.

Ini merupakan antara tool utama dlm kerjaya sy. Sy cuma berpegang pada perinsip 'try n error' dan yg paling penting 'kebolehan tidak akan datang dalam masa sehari'. :)

. Total poly dlm 3 million. Aku cuma adjust exposure & gamma dalam CS3 yg lain mmg dari 3d max sendiri. Malas nak pening2 kepala dalam CS, lagi pun tgh byk keje. C&C amat dialu-alukan :)

Baru-baru ini e-on software http://www.e-onsoftware.com/ secara rasminya telah membuat pelancaran untuk produk terbarunya iaitu Vue 7 xStream. Secara ringkasnya Vue merupakan software untuk membina alam sekitar secara 3d. Ia juga boleh bekerjasama dengan software2 yg lain seperti 3D Max, Soft Image, Maya, Cinema4d. Kelebihan yang terdapat pada software ini adalah pada kebolehannya membina 3d alam sekitar secara infiniti dan renderingnya yg amat menakjubkan. Kita boleh membina hutan hujan tropika, membina lautan atau bukit bukau contohnya tanpa perlu bimbang pada jumlah polygon yang terhasil. Cuma dari segi modelling vue amat terhad tetapi itu tidak menjadi masalah kerana terdapat kerjasama diantara software lain.

Tapi mampukah Vue dapat mengatasi 3D Max dalam membina 3d alam sekitar? Pendapat anda amat diperlukan..

Salam, atas permintaan member2 kat sini aku upload cara aku setting vray cam dan vray sun. Selalunya position vray cam bertentangan tapi untuk kes ni lain skit. Bangunan yg aku design kali ini agak unik so blh dikatakan curve sikit.

Kebiasaannya aku akan letak Vray Sun 90 darjah dgn Vray cam. Maybe sebab effect dia lagi cantik tetapi terpulang pada individu. Dalam kes ni aku letak vray sun di belakang vray cam seperti dalam image ni.

Untuk vray sun aku akan tambah lagi satu setting iaitu vray sky so kat sini aku ada upload image setting yg aku selalu guna. Aku selalu guna setting vray sky secara manual sebab effect dia aku blh control. Selalunya aku akan letak 3 atau 4 vray sun untuk satu2 masa sebab selalu aku guna scene state untuk render.

Actually this is a conceptual 3d, my bos want me to design the facade within 2 days!! Only have 200,000 million polys, 15 min rendering time for 300 dpi A4 size, using Photoshop CS3 for the final montage.

This is one of my previous project, it is a double storey bungalow. Created in 3D Max and for the final rendered i use vray. It took me about 30 min for medium quality, 300 dpi and dimension 3000 x 2000.

I use photoshop CS 3 for the final touch up. The important thing at this point is u must have ur own library. Good Luck! :)

This is one of my previous job, highly detail model and took me about 1 month to finished it. It have about 1.4 million faces and all the object i made both in autocad and 3d Max. For the final presentation, i added some tree using photoshop but it look like not blend with the model.

Wondering who want to leave in there, it so big u know. Maybe the owner want to share this building with their children until the end. :)

After adding HDRI effect

Basically the skin of the tower model consist of three layers. The challenge was to build each of these layers in a random way, where no repetitive pattern should be seen. Ideally it would create a “meta-randomness” in the whole tower. These layers were, from inside to outside :

-Individual offices illuminate randomly in the upper side of the tower, I’ll call them “cells”.

-Window Blinds, roller type. Randomly opened.

-Complex facade system of horizontal reglit like elements, consisting of three different opacities

randomly dispersed.
